Research Institute was founded as Imperial Forest Research in the year 1906.
The institute functions under Indian Council of Forestry Research and

Greco-Roman style. The building has achieved the status of National Heritage.
It is spread across an area of 450 hectares and faces the Himalayas. The lush
greenery around the building only adds to the beauty of the place. The
institute came up with the aim to set up a research base in forestry for
regions of Western Uttar Pradesh, Delhi, Punjab and Chandigarh.
Sahasradhara

Guru Ram Rai Ji Maharaj

and historical importance. As the history goes, the city derived its name from
Shri Guru Ram Rai Ji, who was a son of the seventh Sikh guru. This is a
Gurudwara, which attracts travelers from all corners of the world. The white
monument is a beauty in its own. It was constructed in 1707.
